On March 27th at 7pm there will be a Persian Night Concert taking place at Dar al Athar. I was invited by one of my best friends, Mohammed Dashti, though sadly we won’t be there to attend. However, he’s assured me it’s open to the public for anyone interested in attending.
My friend Mohammed will be one of the musicians at the concert and I’ve referred to him as my ‘personal musician’ for a number of years. I’ve literally sat for hours listening to him play and we’ve even invaded music stores around Abu Dhabi just so he could play display pianos and I could listen. He’s truly brilliant and incredibly talented. (Pictured below, sitting at the piano)
I’m a huge fan of the performing arts but unfortunately Kuwait isn’t a country where becoming a ‘musician’ is something many people strive for. So it truly pleases me that not only did Mohammed follow his dream, but he’s truly mastered the art of music.
So take some time out of your evening, support your local performing arts, and give Mohammed a big hug from me. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Sounds great.
I really wish we could be there to show our support. Mohammed is so very dear to me.
I will attend, and give him a hug on your behalf.
but where is Dar al Athar?
Hope you have a fabulous time! I have no doubt you’ll enjoy the talents of the brilliant musicians.
Dar al Athar is located in Sha’ab near the roundabout by Hwy 30.
