As our home is starting to come together and unpacking is almost complete (it was a LOT of stuff), I’m now into the decorating phase. We’ve made numerous trips to the Goodwill to drop off much of my old decor, DVDs, clothes, and even an old DVD Player in an attempt to clear out the old and bring in the new — even if that ‘new’ is 100 years old.
Not too far from our home is a vast Antique Mall filled with several stores offering a number of items. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it really is a variety of shop owners with very different merchandise ranging from true antiques to more of a ‘thrift store’ feel. We leaned more towards the antiques as my husband is a collector of books (he doesn’t know it though) and I was seeking vintage with quality. I found some amazing pieces.
Followed by a nice brunch, hot coffee, and a walk through town it was a fabulous afternoon.
Definitely a place we plan to spend a lot more time.

Sounds fabulous! Enjoy AG. <3
We’ve been having a fantastic time!
This place looks ADORABLE! This is exactly the type of thing I miss…amazing antique stores in the US.
Lucky you for having such a wonderful place nearby. Can’t wait to see your house as it comes together!
It’s absolutely amazing! I thought of you while shopping. I’ve also really missed things like this so much and it’s so nice to be home and enjoy these simple things again.
